Finding what you need with Easy Trucking Software with just a few clicks of your mouse

One of the unique features of Easy Trucking Software is the ability to find past loads very quickly

Let’s say that you had a load that you hauled for Acme Markets and it was about 6 months ago, and you wanted to look up the load to see what the seal number was for the trailer.  You know that you hauled for Acme Markets several times in the past but can’t remember exactly when. 

Our List View in Profit Per Mile is custom made for this task.  You get there by clicking on Profit Per Mile and then on the tool bar on the bottom, 4^th button from the left is List View. 

When you get to List View, you will see a screen with columns across the top and rows going down. 

The columns are: date, truck number, trip number, load status, from, to, and balance due. 

Going back to our Acme Markets illustration, just scroll down the from column till you find the first load from Acme Markets and click on Acme Markets.  This will instantly find all the loads that you have hauled from Acme Markets and from that point it is easy to find the seal number for that number that you hauled months ago. 

The very first column you will see is a line of green buttons going down the left hand column of the screen. 

To choose the trip with the seal number just click on the appropriate green button and it will take you to the data entry screen where you can find the seal number and any other information about that load. 

If you click on the wrong green button and the information is not what you are looking for, just click on list view and you’ll be taken back to the list of Acme Market loads  and you can try another entry.   

This feature works with all the columns on the screen for example, if you wanted to find all the loads on a specific date, just click on that date and Easy Trucking Software will find just those loads. 

Now lets say you found those loads and you want to go back to all loads, just click on the find all button at the top of the screen and all the loads will be found,  The same goes for truck number, load status, from, to, and balance due.  All of those items are “hot clickable”. 

Another feature of the list view screen is sorting. 

If you’ll look up on top of the column headings, there is a little button next to each heading.  That button sorts that column with one click. 

For example, if you wanted all your trips sorted by date, just click on the date button in the column heading and all of your loads will be instantly sorted by date.  You’ll notice when you do that, that the loads will be sorted in descending order. 

The most recent loads will be on top.  You can do the same with truck number, trip number, load status, from, to and balance due.  By using the list view feature in Easy Trucking Software you can quickly and easily find and/or sort anything you want with just a couple of clicks.
